Thankful

I have so much to be thankful for I have a beautiful family who I just ADORE and LOVE so very much. I have TWO of the cutest little kids. I learn something new each day from them which means the world to me to be able to learn from them. I think the most I have learned from them is how to LOVE. No matter what happens even if they say I hate you I know they still love me. Hate is not allowed in my home but sometimes my cute little guy does say it and instantly Brad or I say

well we love you. It gets to him and he says ya I love you to ha ha ha. :) I am so thankful for my Husband he is my best buddy I  know he loves me no matter what but sometimes I know I press his patience with him and he will just tell me woman relax and a deep breath will come out of him while his head is shaking. I love that even though he wants to rip out the little bit of hair he has left. I am truly thankful for my parents. They still teach me something new each day and I know that they love me for who I am and what I can become even though I can still me a challenge to them sometimes. Funny how that can still happen. My little brother is the best brother you can have. I look up to him in so many ways he is the most caring and righteous person I know. I truly look up to him he is an amazing person to have has a

little brother. He treats my kids so well and my kids just worship the ground he walks on you can so tell if you ever get to see my kids with there Uncle Iley that there is so much love there. I am trying to be a better person each day I know that is something that you have to continually work on and that you will be blessed if you do but some times its just so hard. I just have to be so thankful each day I wake up thankful for the breath that I take in so I can be alive thankful for my kids and husband etc you get the picture and so on and so on.  I am so thankful that I have the LOVE, SUPPORT and PRAYERS from my family because I have needed it. I am truly thankful for my family and friends.

Trick or Treat

We sure had fun on Halloween night. I got to have the night off of work thank goodness and Brad stayed home from School so we all got to be together.

We went to my Mom's house for dinner and had some yummy soup for dinner. Then we started to crave our pumpkins out. That is always fun Xander this year really got in to it he would tell us what kind of face he wanted.

Griffin had fun to tapping the pumpkins and wondering what the heck happened to his Mom. I had my Halloween face on it took every one by surprise.  After we got done carving our pumpkins we put them out on the porch we lit them up and Xander was in love he said can I have one of these has my night light lol
This year the all of us dressed up it was so much fun to do. I thought Brad was going to be stubborn and not dress up but last minute he came out of the bathroom dressed up everyone laughed because we just didn't expect that at all. So the line up is Brad wear him Grandma George's old wig with a pair of those light up glass's. I was a witch Xander was a Ghost Bat and Griffin was a super cute little Puppy.
I thought we all looked pretty awesome. After we all got ready we went out to trick or treat. We went to Papa Lee's house and then to Brads Uncle Terry's because that was where his Grandma George was at luckily for us it was just Grandma George and Terry there. After that then we went to Macabe's Neighborhood to go have some fun. He wanted to go trick or treating with Kacyn and Macabe we caught up to them and we had fun. Griffin held on to his little bucket the whole time and I would tell him say thanks and after a few house's he started to say tanks so cute. Here are a few more pictures of us trick or treating and having FuN!!

Papa Lee and the Ghost Bat.
Auntie Ra Ra and the adorable PUPPY.
The Witch and the but Rocker. Ha Ha Ha
The Puppy and the But rocker!! We all had a great time. I think its funner for the kids when everyone dress's up. Xander thought we were all cool looking he did not want it to be over. We got loads of candy and we have some fun memory's to share. All in all it was one fun and spooky night.

Ghost Bat

Xander this year choose to be a Ghost Bat. My Mom who is the BEST seam stress I know sewed his costume this year for him. He was so funny he would say to my Mom thank you thank you Nanna for making me my costume he was just so ex sided and sweet to her.

She got it done and had him try it on. Her sewing room is down stairs and he went out in the hall way to show me he started to flap his wings and he was moving those little arms of his pretty fast then he stopped and looked at me and said Mom I am not flying. I laughed and told him sorry buddy but you will not be able to fly. He said yes I will and he flapped and flapped some more. I saw he was getting really frustrated and I said sorry dude but you just cant fly he said yes I will my Dad will help me. I said okay lets go find Dad and lets see if he has the magic that will let you fly. We found his

Dad and Xander said I flap my arms but I just don't go in the air. Brad laughed to and said the same thing sorry buddy but you won't be able to fly that way but you can fly this way and Brad picked him up and started swooshing him through the air Xander had his arms flapping supper hard they were over the couch and Xander said okay Dad let me go I can fly now you just wait and see Brad said if I let you go you will fall into the couch. Xan said Let me go I will fly poor little guy.

Brad let him go and the Xander fell :( he started to cry and I said did you think if you were a ghost bat for Halloween that you would be able to fly he shook his head yes and he said all bats should fly boys or not. LOL. I truly love this kids imagination. I thought it was way to cute.

October's Crafts

 Ghost's
So I thought it would be so much fun to do a project with using my kids hands or feet some how in a project so I got some pieces of canvas and I painted them black

then I painted the boys feet white. The boys laughed so hard because I used a sponge to put paint it on with. Then I pressed there little feet to the canvas and then I sprinkled white glitter over them before it dried then I got more black paint and painted the eyes and the mouth

of the ghost. Then my super dandy husband drilled two wholes on the top for me and I ran some cute festive tool and ribbon threw it. They both seemed to have fun doing it. We made little ghosts out of there feet I think they are adorable.

Bats
I had a great time making these bats. My Mom, Xander and I went to the wood connection I LOVE LOVE LOVE that store. We found these cute bats to make. Xander was a bat for Halloween so when he saw these bats he wanted to make them to. He told me that we

had to make a ghost bat with one of them. So what we did was we painted each bat the color we wanted them to be we did 2 black and 1 white because we just had to have a ghost bat. Before the paint dried we glittered each one of the bats with the right color of glitter. Then we painted the stick and the base of the bats. Then you choose the paper you want for the base of the

bats cut it and then I used this wonderful stuff called Diamond Glaze I bought that at BargainPack.com it is really a fun product to use. Then let every thing dry. Once dry set it all up and we had some way cute looking bats for Halloween.

Sign
I love the sign that Lisa and I made the same trip we bought the bats we found this super cute spooky sign from wood connection. I bought two of them hoping that she would find it has cute has I did. If not my Mom said that  I could make it for her and that she would have it. I am glad that Lisa liked it to. It was fun to get together and make this project it had been a little while

since we had been together. So for the sign we just had to choose the paper we wanted and the paint to match the paper and then we traced it out then we put Diamond glaze on the top of it the letters that had paper on it. For the O's we painted them and the of course we glittered the heck out of them It was so much fun and then it was done and way super easy it was a done project.

October's Door

Our October's Door turned out pretty cute I think. I normally make my wreaths with my friend Lisa but since she was out having her adorable little baby girl I got my

Cousins wrapped in with me to make this wreath with me. They probably think I am crazy now but oh well they love me still. We each made one it was fun to get together and have the kids run around and play and to be able to talk and vist. So what I did was I got 8 different colors and 1/2 yard of each color. Then you cut it 1 inch wide by 4 inches long you get one of those

three prong metal wreaths and then you tie a knot with your piece of fabric and just keep going till its all done. It took a little bit but it was so worth it. I was suppose to have the word Eek or Boo on it but I just did not have the time to get to that. Then I found this cute tape and I wrapped my door with it. I think this was a cute door for Halloween. I love Halloween.
