CIRCUS

We went to the Circus this year it was so much fun. My parents bought us the tickets to go. My Dad has only been wanting to take Xander since he was 1yrs old. We all had a great time we went this last Saturday we went to the Eleven a clock showing. We went over to my parents house and had some breakfast which was way yummy thanks to my Mom.

Then we all piled into the cars to go to the Circus Xander was so so so excited to go. He was really cute about it he said I get to go and see the animals and some crazy clowns and I get to see Auntie RaRa lol. We got there only 15min before the animal exhibit closed which was fine it gave us totally enough time to go see the animals.

We first got to see the Elephants which was really cool to see that close up we could have stretched our hand out and we could have easily have touched one. Then it was off to see the TIGERS hurray for the tigers Xander loves loves tigers he was so bummed

out at the zoo when we went that they were not out so this totally made up for it. These tigers where so play full and fun to see they were rolling around and one climbed on top of the other one and tired to play with the other tiger.
It was fun and then we walked out and we saw Auntie Ronda he said hi and then we were off to find our seats. Once we found our seats they were doing a pre show party down on the floor so we went down it was way cute. They were doing fake tattoos so Xander wanted to get one here he is getting his tattoo.
It was funny he took a nap later that day and he woke up with a blue circle on his cheek from the fake tattoo. Then there were clowns walking around Brad asked him if he wanted to go talk to one and he said no. I think Xander just liked to watch and see what they were all about first. I could not blame the kid. They can be pretty scary, but then he did ask to go and get his book signed by one this clown was super cute with him.
I think Xander's face tells it all hurry up Mom and take the picture I want to get away from this dude. Then we were walking over to see one of the elephants that they brought out and one of the tight rope walkers where out so here is Griffin and her.
Then it was time for us to go back to our super great seats we were like 4 to 5 rows from the bottom they were awesome. Here is a group shot of us. Me "really bad pic of me", My Dad, Xander, My Mom and Griffin.
The show started they had the Ring Master and the clowns come out and do there thing it was cute. Then the horses and Zebra's come out and they did there tricks it was pretty cool to see. Then it was time for the tight rope walkers to come out. Xander was really really nerves for those guys he kept telling Brad tell them to get down, or tell them to fall. It was funny.
Then it was inter mission and that is when Brad told me it was his first time ever going to the circus. I could not believe that. I could not believe how well Griffin did he was jumping, laughing and really seemed to be loving it. Here is Griffin he was so tired.
Then it was time for the Tigers. This guy is completely INSANE to get into a cage with like 12 tigers. They did some really really cool tricks and it was neat to see which ones where new and which tigers have been in the show for a while because he would tell one tiger to do something and then the other one would be like okay that's my cue and come along and do it. Here are some pictures of the tigers and the insane dude.
Then it was over we had a fun time we went to lunch after words and every body went home and took a much needed nap. Thanks to My parents for a way super fun filled day you are the best.

Glow in the Dark Bath.

Xander would not get into the bath for some reason the other night he usually really like to get in the bath and play. So after some tears later and a tired Mama I decided to bag it. I had the light off in the bathroom for some reason Xander had one of those glowing rings

on and then it clicked I had tonz of those glowing sticks so I cracked them open and put them in the bath. I then called Xander and told him to go in the bath room and look itno the tub he changed his tune about wanting to take a bath so we were all pleased and happy. It looked way cool to. Good idea definitely will be buying more glow sticks. They are a dollar at Michale's and at Target.

Apple Cupcakes for Pre School

Xander has been learning about Apples all this month at preschool so I thought it would be supper fun to make a treat with using apples or an apple shape so I starting looking to find something and I found it on this web sight I really like her sight she has tonz of cute ideas.
www.makeandtakes.com
So here is my spin on them.
I did not do red food coloring because some of the coloring has a weird taste to it so we did green. Xanders favorite color anyways so it was a plus. I could not believe how easy they were to make. The kids in his class LOVED LOVED them so we were pleased with them. I also had a super hard time finding green fruit slices so we used all the colors in them its fall time anyways so it turned out darling here are some more pictures of them.

Suzuki Samurai's and My Husband

I love having a husband that is so handy in so many different things but some times it can drive a woman completely NUTS!! Brad has been working on the

samurai's for a couple of weekends now and that's okay but it just seems like its a never ending project lol. Riley wanted the yellow samurai running so Brad went over there and they spent all of one Saturday to get it up and running they had to change out the clutch in it.

Then it would not start both of the guys where getting mad they had me get in it and they pushed me down the road to see if we could get it started. Nope it didn't :{ I then said have you checked all of the fuse's they said that could not be it at all that it just HAS to be

something else. So a hour or so later a defited and super tired Riley came in and said I am done. My Dad and I walked outside I said again to Brad are you sure you changed the fuse he said once again that could not be it. I said just check the stupid fuse so he did and guess what happened next the once dead Yellow samurai started!!!

Yeah go me. I said to Brad thought it wasnt it and he said ya ya ya go away. LOL. So then a wk or so later Riley came back to Brad and said he dose not want the yellow samurai he wants the red one but he dose not want any of the lift kit or anything on it he just wants the

bare bones of the samurai. Brad jumped on to this. He spent yet another Saturday outside switching everything around. He was out there FOREVER it felt like. I should have taken some before pictures of the trade out but I didn't sorry guys. He had a fun time out there.  Here is Brad out there working on the samurai.

I thought climbing into his jeep was bad this yellow samurai puts climbing into a vehicle for me to a new heights. The floor goes to my hip I could not get into it I had to climb in it.

The seats they have in it have a lip to them so its not like I could run and jump into it and the do a slide in. I told Brad to get side steps and he just laughed at me.  Here are the after math pictures of the ole switch a roue.
First the Red Samurai with nothing on it. It looks kinda sad lol
The all new Yellow Samurai. Pictures really dose not do it justice the things a beast.

I do not know if you can see it but here are the seats I was talking about here is also the inside but stay tuned because there will be another entry on here about the inside and new tires. Joy bigger tires can you tell I am just so dang thrilled. lol
And the Samurai came with my cute little guy to. Griffin looks so darn little compared to the samurai. Then Brad was cleaning up he was all smiles because it looks great and it works and know my Dad and Him has a new all beefed out toy. Good luck trying to get my Dad into it. He is a little taller then me. Here is Brad glad its done.
He is so darn handsome isn't he all covered in grease and what ever else there could be under an old yucky samurai suzuki's lol. I love you babe and am truly grateful that you are so handy in so many different things and that you are always willing to help anybody out. Love you.

Grandma George and Kids

I think its so funny that we has parents try to get all the kids together and expect to have all the kids turn and look the same way to get a perfect picture. LOL. We sat there calling each of the kids named out and trying so hard to get the little people to smile or even to just
look at us and also how big of a deal  it was to have who sat by who and where they sat its just so funny to see each of there little personality's come all together.  Here are all the grand kids on Brad's side of the family with Great Grandma George. They all LOVE her so much. Here are some more of the pictures we took so you can see what I was talking about.

lol  I love these kids so much they all love each other and have such a good time when they are together.
