Thankful

I have so much to be thankful for I have a beautiful family who I just ADORE and LOVE so very much. I have TWO of the cutest little kids. I learn something new each day from them which means the world to me to be able to learn from them. I think the most I have learned from them is how to LOVE. No matter what happens even if they say I hate you I know they still love me. Hate is not allowed in my home but sometimes my cute little guy does say it and instantly Brad or I say

well we love you. It gets to him and he says ya I love you to ha ha ha. :) I am so thankful for my Husband he is my best buddy I  know he loves me no matter what but sometimes I know I press his patience with him and he will just tell me woman relax and a deep breath will come out of him while his head is shaking. I love that even though he wants to rip out the little bit of hair he has left. I am truly thankful for my parents. They still teach me something new each day and I know that they love me for who I am and what I can become even though I can still me a challenge to them sometimes. Funny how that can still happen. My little brother is the best brother you can have. I look up to him in so many ways he is the most caring and righteous person I know. I truly look up to him he is an amazing person to have has a

little brother. He treats my kids so well and my kids just worship the ground he walks on you can so tell if you ever get to see my kids with there Uncle Iley that there is so much love there. I am trying to be a better person each day I know that is something that you have to continually work on and that you will be blessed if you do but some times its just so hard. I just have to be so thankful each day I wake up thankful for the breath that I take in so I can be alive thankful for my kids and husband etc you get the picture and so on and so on.  I am so thankful that I have the LOVE, SUPPORT and PRAYERS from my family because I have needed it. I am truly thankful for my family and friends.

Trick or Treat

We sure had fun on Halloween night. I got to have the night off of work thank goodness and Brad stayed home from School so we all got to be together.

We went to my Mom's house for dinner and had some yummy soup for dinner. Then we started to crave our pumpkins out. That is always fun Xander this year really got in to it he would tell us what kind of face he wanted.

Griffin had fun to tapping the pumpkins and wondering what the heck happened to his Mom. I had my Halloween face on it took every one by surprise.  After we got done carving our pumpkins we put them out on the porch we lit them up and Xander was in love he said can I have one of these has my night light lol
This year the all of us dressed up it was so much fun to do. I thought Brad was going to be stubborn and not dress up but last minute he came out of the bathroom dressed up everyone laughed because we just didn't expect that at all. So the line up is Brad wear him Grandma George's old wig with a pair of those light up glass's. I was a witch Xander was a Ghost Bat and Griffin was a super cute little Puppy.
I thought we all looked pretty awesome. After we all got ready we went out to trick or treat. We went to Papa Lee's house and then to Brads Uncle Terry's because that was where his Grandma George was at luckily for us it was just Grandma George and Terry there. After that then we went to Macabe's Neighborhood to go have some fun. He wanted to go trick or treating with Kacyn and Macabe we caught up to them and we had fun. Griffin held on to his little bucket the whole time and I would tell him say thanks and after a few house's he started to say tanks so cute. Here are a few more pictures of us trick or treating and having FuN!!

Papa Lee and the Ghost Bat.
Auntie Ra Ra and the adorable PUPPY.
The Witch and the but Rocker. Ha Ha Ha
The Puppy and the But rocker!! We all had a great time. I think its funner for the kids when everyone dress's up. Xander thought we were all cool looking he did not want it to be over. We got loads of candy and we have some fun memory's to share. All in all it was one fun and spooky night.

Ghost Bat

Xander this year choose to be a Ghost Bat. My Mom who is the BEST seam stress I know sewed his costume this year for him. He was so funny he would say to my Mom thank you thank you Nanna for making me my costume he was just so ex sided and sweet to her.

She got it done and had him try it on. Her sewing room is down stairs and he went out in the hall way to show me he started to flap his wings and he was moving those little arms of his pretty fast then he stopped and looked at me and said Mom I am not flying. I laughed and told him sorry buddy but you will not be able to fly. He said yes I will and he flapped and flapped some more. I saw he was getting really frustrated and I said sorry dude but you just cant fly he said yes I will my Dad will help me. I said okay lets go find Dad and lets see if he has the magic that will let you fly. We found his

Dad and Xander said I flap my arms but I just don't go in the air. Brad laughed to and said the same thing sorry buddy but you won't be able to fly that way but you can fly this way and Brad picked him up and started swooshing him through the air Xander had his arms flapping supper hard they were over the couch and Xander said okay Dad let me go I can fly now you just wait and see Brad said if I let you go you will fall into the couch. Xan said Let me go I will fly poor little guy.

Brad let him go and the Xander fell :( he started to cry and I said did you think if you were a ghost bat for Halloween that you would be able to fly he shook his head yes and he said all bats should fly boys or not. LOL. I truly love this kids imagination. I thought it was way to cute.

October's Crafts

 Ghost's
So I thought it would be so much fun to do a project with using my kids hands or feet some how in a project so I got some pieces of canvas and I painted them black

then I painted the boys feet white. The boys laughed so hard because I used a sponge to put paint it on with. Then I pressed there little feet to the canvas and then I sprinkled white glitter over them before it dried then I got more black paint and painted the eyes and the mouth

of the ghost. Then my super dandy husband drilled two wholes on the top for me and I ran some cute festive tool and ribbon threw it. They both seemed to have fun doing it. We made little ghosts out of there feet I think they are adorable.

Bats
I had a great time making these bats. My Mom, Xander and I went to the wood connection I LOVE LOVE LOVE that store. We found these cute bats to make. Xander was a bat for Halloween so when he saw these bats he wanted to make them to. He told me that we

had to make a ghost bat with one of them. So what we did was we painted each bat the color we wanted them to be we did 2 black and 1 white because we just had to have a ghost bat. Before the paint dried we glittered each one of the bats with the right color of glitter. Then we painted the stick and the base of the bats. Then you choose the paper you want for the base of the

bats cut it and then I used this wonderful stuff called Diamond Glaze I bought that at BargainPack.com it is really a fun product to use. Then let every thing dry. Once dry set it all up and we had some way cute looking bats for Halloween.

Sign
I love the sign that Lisa and I made the same trip we bought the bats we found this super cute spooky sign from wood connection. I bought two of them hoping that she would find it has cute has I did. If not my Mom said that  I could make it for her and that she would have it. I am glad that Lisa liked it to. It was fun to get together and make this project it had been a little while

since we had been together. So for the sign we just had to choose the paper we wanted and the paint to match the paper and then we traced it out then we put Diamond glaze on the top of it the letters that had paper on it. For the O's we painted them and the of course we glittered the heck out of them It was so much fun and then it was done and way super easy it was a done project.

October's Door

Our October's Door turned out pretty cute I think. I normally make my wreaths with my friend Lisa but since she was out having her adorable little baby girl I got my

Cousins wrapped in with me to make this wreath with me. They probably think I am crazy now but oh well they love me still. We each made one it was fun to get together and have the kids run around and play and to be able to talk and vist. So what I did was I got 8 different colors and 1/2 yard of each color. Then you cut it 1 inch wide by 4 inches long you get one of those

three prong metal wreaths and then you tie a knot with your piece of fabric and just keep going till its all done. It took a little bit but it was so worth it. I was suppose to have the word Eek or Boo on it but I just did not have the time to get to that. Then I found this cute tape and I wrapped my door with it. I think this was a cute door for Halloween. I love Halloween.

For his birthday we went and got his 1 yr old pictures done by Mary Kim so stay tuned for that post because oh my heck these pictures where fun. Then we went and got his birthday balloons they were so cute we all had fun picking them out.
It was Mickey mouse and some fun colored balloons of course this little guy LOVES LOVES Mickey Mouse. Then we went to Wendys for some lunch it was yummy. Finally Dad came home we were all so happy we played some games and then it was time for Mom to make dinner. My parents and Brother came over to have dinner and to see Griffin open his gifts. We have a tradition in our little Family that we get the kids one of those fuzzy little chairs Griffin absolutely LOVES his chair. He will sit in it and kick his feet and then tap his little hands on the arm rest its like he is saying awh this is my spot. lol
Here are some pictures of him opening his gifts we were waiting for my brother to get off of work before we did the gifts and cake and every time a car would drive past our house Xander would say okay Mom its time Uncle Riley is here I would tell him no he is not here and Xan would say awh come on Mom I would tell him just wait a little longer he would say ok and then two seconds later start asking the same thing over again I think he was more ex sided to have Griffin open his gifts then anything. Here are some pictures of Griffin opening his gifts.
Then it was time for him to have his cake. I love this part I think it is so cute how they are so careful at first. They look at you and then the cake and they are like really this is all mine to dig into. I think it is hilarious to see. This kid got covered in it. He had a good time. Here are some cute pictures of his cake and then of him getting into it.
He was covered in it. After he finished his cake we took him right to a bath and he had a good time playing in the water he loves bath time. It was a great day to turn one. I just can not believe that he is one. It just seems like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. I can not wait to see what this next year will bring you sweet little boy a whole new world is going to be coming your way and you will be having so much fun learning and seeing new things thats for sure. I just want you to know Griffin that I love you so much and you are the sweetest little guy and I am so so very blessed to have you has my son and to have you be in our family you are a blessing and you are just so precious. I love you dude.

Haunted House

We had such a fun time the other night. We got to hang out with our best buds Brittney and Bryan. Brittney and I talked earlier in the week saying that we need to get together and see each other because its been so long since she now lives up in Logan during the week and only home on the weekends. Very sad for us but so much fun for  her.
Anyways so we talked and decided that we would take they guys out for a date and surprise them with Dinner and a Haunted House. Any one who really knows me knows that I am the biggest chicken when it comes to scary things. I just do not like it. So we found a great and wonderful Baby sitter she is so AWESOME her name is Natalie if you need a baby sitter lmk and I can tell you about her. We all meet at our house around 6ish and first we went to dinner at La Fuente this Mexican Restaurant in West Valley it was supper yummy food. The guys still did not know where we were going so then we got
into the cars and headed off to the Haunted House we were going to be going to Asylum 49 I was so freaking out but I played it so so cool with Brad he was surprised when we pulled up he thought I would be totally wigging out about going and I told him you had no Idea how I have been. So we went and it was totally scary they had all of us scared and screaming it was fun for everyone but would I do this again NOPE. I took one for our team this year and I think I am paid up for at least another 4 yrs Brad said no we are so going to do another Haunted house next yr. I told him nope he said oh come on it was fun so we will just have to see. Then we came back to our house and to our surprise that super AWESOME baby sitter of ours had not just one but BOTH of our kids a sleep Brad and I were both shocked its hard some times to get Xander Man down for the count so our Hats are totally off to her. So then we played this game called Settlers of Catan and sat and talked. It was so much fun to be able to hang out with them we totally miss those guys.

Pumpkin Patch

We have been going to this Pumpkin Patch the year that we found out that we were going to be having our Xander. So since 2007. It first started out really one of My best buddies Brittney and I were on the hunt for a good deal on pumpkins because we were going to be

having a Halloween Party and we thought how fun it would be to have every one have there own pumpkin to carve. Anyways so I have kept this little tradition alive with Xander and now Griffin. We have gone every year and it is always so much fun. Xander loves going and sitting on all the different tractors that they have and being able to show this to his little brother this year was so fun he said.
So once they had there fun on the tractors it was time to go find our perfect pumpkins to take home with us. Griffin got a first class seat he had a fun time riding in the wheel barrow Xander helped him choose his pumpkin out he was so cute with Griffin he would bring up different pumpkins and ask him how about this one or what do you think about this little pumpkin.
This is the pumpkin that he squealed the most at so Xander said this is his. Xander wanted to help every one else out first to find there pumpkin he was so funny about this Brad would say its okay you choose yours and then we can choose for the others. He said no I help you guys first. Here is Brad and Xander choosing My pumpkin.
Then Xander saw a little girl zoom by with her own little wheel barrow and he wanted one so all the sudden he was off running for one and then he had little trouble at first trying to figure out how to steer it but then he got a hold of it pretty good.
Finally Xander was able to choose his perfect little pumpkin he looked and looked and looked for his. He walked up and down the row and then he said Dad this is it this is the one I want.
Brad told him great pick it up and put it into his wheel barrow. This is a picture of Xander and his pumpkin he told me to take a picture of him with it lol.
Then it was time to go and pay for our pumpkins I love love this picture of the boys pushing there wheel barrows down the row of pumpkins. Xander trys so hard to be like his Dad.
Here is a group shoot of all of us at the pumpkin patch we always get a group shoot of us all they have a cute wagon filled with pumpkins. I love this pumpkin patch.
Then we payed for our pumpkins then the lady that was ringing us up told us about a free corn maze so we put the pumpkins into the car and headed over to it. Xander had a fun time we went through it like three times here is Xan coming out of the corn maze saying one more time please.
It was a fun day it was perfect weather to go hunting for perfect little pumpkins. I am so glad that Brittney and I found this pumpkin patch four years ago it has been fun to keep going each year and being able to see how much fun my family has there. Next year we are going to have to take Brittney with us.

Sept Door

I know I am really behind on this one but its just because I dont think its the cutest thing I have done. My mom said who care and that I should still post it so here it is the wreath is done out of paper.

You need Six different sheets of Paper and you will cut it 1"wide by 4" long and then with your four finger and middle finger rub and bind the paper to give the paper a bind to it. Then you can either hot glue it or you can pin it into your circle flat foam wreath. Then in the middle and

outer part of  your wreath you cut out 2 2inch pieces of the same or different color paper and pin it in place and then grab a cute piece of ribbon and walla you are done. I then cut out School Days with my cricut machine. Its okay but not the best.
Here it is all together. My Aunt Julie says it was cute so what do you all think?

Griffin and the sandbox

This had to have been the best time yet for this little guy. It was his first time in the sandbox he absolutely LOVED it.

We all went out side after dinner one night and Xander headed for the sandbox. Brad was watering the garden and Griffin crawled right over and at first he was just putting his hands into it and letting the sand run through his little fingers. Then he started to get big handfuls.

Then he eventually crawled over the lip of the sandbox and got into it. He was kicking and laughing and smearing the sand every where he was having a good time. Then his Brother and Dad decided they where going to turn the water on and make a mote around one of there sand castles and then they connected there mote with another sandcastle so then there was a little bit of water in the sandbox. Griffin noticed the water and he got right in the middle of it. He splashed and had

sand every where he was making all of us laugh so hard he was so funny we were all enjoying being out there. He loved it he was so mad when we took him inside to get cleaned off there had to have been half of the sandbox in our bath tub. It was a fun time being out there with just us four laughing and not a care in the world for that moment in time.

CIRCUS

We went to the Circus this year it was so much fun. My parents bought us the tickets to go. My Dad has only been wanting to take Xander since he was 1yrs old. We all had a great time we went this last Saturday we went to the Eleven a clock showing. We went over to my parents house and had some breakfast which was way yummy thanks to my Mom.

Then we all piled into the cars to go to the Circus Xander was so so so excited to go. He was really cute about it he said I get to go and see the animals and some crazy clowns and I get to see Auntie RaRa lol. We got there only 15min before the animal exhibit closed which was fine it gave us totally enough time to go see the animals.

We first got to see the Elephants which was really cool to see that close up we could have stretched our hand out and we could have easily have touched one. Then it was off to see the TIGERS hurray for the tigers Xander loves loves tigers he was so bummed

out at the zoo when we went that they were not out so this totally made up for it. These tigers where so play full and fun to see they were rolling around and one climbed on top of the other one and tired to play with the other tiger.
It was fun and then we walked out and we saw Auntie Ronda he said hi and then we were off to find our seats. Once we found our seats they were doing a pre show party down on the floor so we went down it was way cute. They were doing fake tattoos so Xander wanted to get one here he is getting his tattoo.
It was funny he took a nap later that day and he woke up with a blue circle on his cheek from the fake tattoo. Then there were clowns walking around Brad asked him if he wanted to go talk to one and he said no. I think Xander just liked to watch and see what they were all about first. I could not blame the kid. They can be pretty scary, but then he did ask to go and get his book signed by one this clown was super cute with him.
I think Xander's face tells it all hurry up Mom and take the picture I want to get away from this dude. Then we were walking over to see one of the elephants that they brought out and one of the tight rope walkers where out so here is Griffin and her.
Then it was time for us to go back to our super great seats we were like 4 to 5 rows from the bottom they were awesome. Here is a group shot of us. Me "really bad pic of me", My Dad, Xander, My Mom and Griffin.
The show started they had the Ring Master and the clowns come out and do there thing it was cute. Then the horses and Zebra's come out and they did there tricks it was pretty cool to see. Then it was time for the tight rope walkers to come out. Xander was really really nerves for those guys he kept telling Brad tell them to get down, or tell them to fall. It was funny.
Then it was inter mission and that is when Brad told me it was his first time ever going to the circus. I could not believe that. I could not believe how well Griffin did he was jumping, laughing and really seemed to be loving it. Here is Griffin he was so tired.
Then it was time for the Tigers. This guy is completely INSANE to get into a cage with like 12 tigers. They did some really really cool tricks and it was neat to see which ones where new and which tigers have been in the show for a while because he would tell one tiger to do something and then the other one would be like okay that's my cue and come along and do it. Here are some pictures of the tigers and the insane dude.
Then it was over we had a fun time we went to lunch after words and every body went home and took a much needed nap. Thanks to My parents for a way super fun filled day you are the best.
